Kates Playground Weight Gain

Chapter LI - Fantasy

In January this year, Ricardo Maturana, Elefante17 , told me he wanted to use my version of the Sonata 14, Moonlight, for a short film that came around for his head since last year.

Finally we can enjoy this short, and the wait really worth it. Gradually Elephant films have gained a distinct personality, as it has learned to tell stories also has set its own stamp, to the point that even the photograph of his films is already a feature. I draw much attention to the aesthetic and the direction of documentation they have.

me explain. In Fantasy, for example, we who looks over the shoulder of the protagonist in 5:15 minutes of your life. No further explanation, dialogues, camera cuts and pans. Maturana skillfully makes us partakers of the voyeurism of his camera, as if it let the action run its course, and he only was devoted to film what is happening before their eyes. A clear example of this is also In Retro .

The music for Fantasia is very wise. A very smart move by the Elephant include Ludwig Van's glorious music. Having seen the short film several times I think the soundtrack should be the "Moonlight", regardless of whether it was my version or any other, the Sonata 14, which was originally called "Almost a Fantasy" (Don Rica, without knowing , very nearly her achuntó the name) gives you the passion, sentiment and romance needed to set the story.

This video has quickly become one of my favorites along with Regulus short clip of Data and Zero v / s Elvis Presley Let Me . I love the music of the picture of Fantasia, where the images and editing are completely and utterly at the mercy of the music as if it were a video clip. Well Don

Rica, you keep beating. I hope you keep doing and keep giving us these pleasant surprises.
